This thought made me view the following video differently...
In this 4 minute BBC special feature, Dr. Hans Rosling uses computer graphics alng with his research to illustrate the economic growth of 200 countries over the past 200 years and gives a quick snapshot of our global economy.
This may simply be for your "gee-whiz file", but I think it helps us get a better perspective of the world we live in and a deeper understanding of why we are compelled to help others with so little when we have so much.
